Connect your Marseil AI agent to Slack

Slack Integration

Let your team chat with the agent directly in Slack channels by @mentioning it.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click Add to Slack.
  2. Choose the Slack workspace you want to install it in and authorize the app.
  3. Once connected, you’ll see a Connected badge showing the workspace name.

Usage

Two ways to chat with the agent:

In a channel — Add Marseil to the channel first (channel settings → Integrations → Add apps), then mention it:

@Marseil How do refunds work?

Direct message — Open a DM with Marseil from your Slack sidebar and just type your question. No mention needed.

The agent reads your knowledge base and replies in both cases.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → Integrations and click the dropdown on the Connected badge → Disconnect. This removes the integration from the workspace.
